Carb loading made easy (and delicious!) for Montana's Premier Run
The 41st Annual Ice Breaker Road Race is just around the next snow drift; are you ready?
This race has been named among the top 100 road races in the country and is scheduled for the 4th Sunday in April each year in Great Falls Mt. This year that falls on April 26th with online registration beginning on March 11th. The unpredictable Montana April weather always makes for a very memorable event so come prepared with layered clothing options!
The race includes 5, 3 and 1 mile events with the first being the 5 mile race kicking off at 1pm. This is a great opportunity for groups to have a little competitive fun or to gain inspiration from some of the nation’s top runners. The Ice Breaker draws an average of 3600 participants! This means you should research your rooming & eating options early. With a stay at Tiger Butte Manor, your breakfast will be provided as part of your stay and you also have the opportunity to partake of complimentary evening refreshments after check in. In honor of the event and to help potential participants prepare, carbs will be abundant at the Manor! Homemade breads and muffins will be included with the evening refreshments and of course a carb loaded breakfast could include a multitude of scrumptious options: French toast, oatmeal cobbler, pancakes or waffles all served with fruit and yummy toppings!
