About Tiger Butte Manor

Tiger Butte Manor was built in 2010 as a private residence with a unique flair using architectural salvage elements from across the nation. Among these elements are an intricately carved antique staircase from an Indianapolis home and another from a church in Philadelphia. The home was furnished with varied antique pieces including family heirlooms and gothic items.

Water for the Manor is supplied by a natural spring that is fed by the infamous Madison Aquifer which is the ‘Giant Spring’ of Giant Springs State Park. The water is filtered and UV treated to ensure safe drinking without altering the natural elements and crisp, clean taste.

Tiger Butte Manor was chosen as the name for the Bed and Breakfast conversion in 2019 as a tribute to the focal view of Tiger Butte from the property. Tiger Butte is a prominent mountain within the Little Belt Mountain range.

Guests will be welcomed upon arrival and provided a tour of the Manor. Complimentary refreshments will be available between 5 & 9 pm.

Guests are welcome to hike the various trails on the property, stroll the lawns and gardens or relax on the patio absorbing the tranquility. Tiger Butte Manor offers a unique opportunity for guests seeking hiking, mountain biking or skiing due to the proximity of Lewis and Clark National Forest, Kings Hill recreational area and Showdown ski area. Experience the true beauty of Montana’s Big Sky away from city lights and sounds. Use the complimentary telescope or just lay back and absorb the endless stars unaided.

Guests traveling with horses are welcome as there is abundant pasture available. Two cats and a dog reside at the Manor, therefore other pets cannot be accommodated. The Manor is dedicated to maintaining a private and tranquil hideaway. The rural, agricultural locale and a security gate limiting property access makes this possible. Due to the location, the only access is via a well-maintained gravel road.

If you are planning to explore Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks, scenic Highway 89 offers a ‘backroad’ traveling experience without all the ‘ruts’!  This scenic drive is the shortest distance between the parks, has little competing traffic and has varied and beautiful scenery.

One word describes the mission of Tiger Butte Manor: ENJOY

Enjoy the creation of a welcoming environment and luscious dishes to ensure that guests can fully enjoy their stay.”

I look forward to your visit!
